Rose Bowl (2/366)

Because January 1st fell on a Sunday this year, and God forbid we disturb the NFL on Sunday, the Rose Bowl is being played today ... during the day ... and I was working!

Thanks to a little help from my friends, I was able to find a live stream of the game so that I could watch from work ... during my breaks of course ... which I saved up until the end of the day so that I could watch the game.

No!

The time will come when people will travel in stages moved by steam engines from one city to another, almost as fast as birds can fly, 15 or 20 miles an hour.... A carriage will start from Washington in the morning, the passengers will breakfast at Baltimore, dine at Philadelphia, and sup in New York the same day.... One of the things I wanted to do differently with my Project 365 366 this year was to repeat a photo monthly. 

I remembered Sujomi doing this in 2010 with a tree. I was fascinated watching the changes each month.

So, the first of each month I'll give you this same view.  Hopefully it will cooperate and change with the seasons (and no, we shouldn't have that green grass on January 1st).

I played with my new toy today - a new (to me) Canon DSLR. It's going to take some practice, but it sure felt good in my hands!
