Feed (44/365)

~*~*~

“There is always something to do. There are hungry people to feed, naked people to clothe, sick people to comfort and make well. And while I don't expect you to save the world I do think it's not asking too much for you to love those with whom you sleep, share the happiness of those whom you call friend, engage those among you who are visionary and remove from your live those who offer you depression, despair and disrespect.”
~ Nikki Giovanni

TIME: 1:00PM

PLACE: Ginger Creek Church

SUBJECT: Serving

Cam and I volunteer, in some capacity, at least once a month. Today we traveled to Ginger Creek Church in Aurora, IL where we participated in a food packaging project for Feed My Starving Children. 18,000 children across he world die each day from starvation. Cam and I do these projects because we know that wearing a hairnet for two hours while scooping rice, soy,
dehydrated vegetables and a vitamin/mineral/vegetarian chicken flavoring into a bag, does make a difference.

Have you noticed we seem to follow the same themes? Like unintentionally?

It cracks me up sometimes how similar our pics are.

and it does make all the difference in the world, what you're doing!

Kim, actually I have ... and I have a theory on that. I'm not a huge astrology fan, but I do think there are similarities in personalities of those born under the same sign. You and I do share that!
